An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Savier in the 7th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Fidel Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fausto Beltran fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Fausto Beltran a yellow card for diving instead. 10 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's Carmelo Savier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Niva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alpachiri AFC's Sixto Mergildo got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Hermengildo Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Artemio Francho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Demario in the 18th minute of play forced Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Gualterio Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alpachiri AFC's Gualterio Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Beltran in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Hermengildo Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Artemio Francho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Niva came out of the goal and Artemio Francho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Independiente's Fidel Niva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Carmelo Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fidel Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alpachiri AFC's Wilfredo Araoz suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Lorien during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filomeno Lorien hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Independiente's Fidel Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Francho in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artemio Francho to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Francho came free, but Fidel Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Alpachiri AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gualterio Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Demario in the 57th minute of the match. Fidel Niva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Fidel Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Francho in the 63rd minute of play. Artemio Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Artemio Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Niva having to interfere. Alpachiri AFC's Artemio Francho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fidel Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alpachiri AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
