Leonel Valerio started the match with the kick off. When Basilio Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Starship Troopers's protests and gave Basilio Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Malvinas AFC booed when Starship Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Kimetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Evarado struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Silvestre Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas AFC. Malvinas AFC's Leonel Valerio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Malvinas AFC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Malvinas AFC's Leonel Valerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Malvinas AFC's Tiburcio Tibalt got a free kick in the 11th minute. Angelo Hernando charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Hernando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelo Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Leonel Valerio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Starship Troopers's Silvestre Oso. Silvestre Oso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvestre Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Patrido in the 18th minute of the match. Leonel Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Silvestre Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Christian Niguel made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Oso. Starship Troopers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Elvio Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Oso having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Leonel Valerio put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Silvestre Oso. In the 30th minute, Basilio Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leonel Valerio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Malvinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Valerio couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Leonel Valerio notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Starship Troopers's Silvestre Oso. Silvestre Oso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elvio Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Leonel Valerio sped through Starship Troopers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Oso. Silvestre Oso came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Malvinas AFC's Tiburcio Tibalt. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Tibalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, Amancio Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Malvinas AFC's Leonel Valerio in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Starship Troopers's goalie prevented a goal. Tiburcio Tibalt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 56 minutes, Leonel Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvinas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Starship Troopers getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Faustino Rafe hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Starship Troopers's Amancio Joseph got a free kick in the 58th minute. Leonel Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Oso was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Leonel Valerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonel Valerio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. A hard shot 68 in the game by Leonel Valerio from a close distance when the talented Silvestre Oso managed to make a qualified save. Starship Troopers's players were relieved. Raimundo Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Oso having to interfere. Malvinas AFC's Christian Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonel Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Christian Niguel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Oso. Starship Troopers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Niguel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. If Leonel Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Amancio Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Tibalt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Oso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Valerio's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Leonel Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Oso having to interfere. When the match was over Malvinas AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Starship Troopers throughout the match.
