Fidel Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Romano in the 25th minute of the match. Romeo Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Romano in the 35th minute of play forced Iruya's goalkeeper Fidel Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Kauldi was a little too slow when Damaso Ederono got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Lisandro Aureo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chivilcoy FC's Urbano Kauldi. Urbano Kauldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Astigar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Eloy Benat made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Benat in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Eliazar saved Iruya from getting behind. Damaso Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Kauldi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Damaso Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iruya's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Ederono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Kauldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Iruya booed when Chivilcoy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Ederono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Kauldi having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Chivilcoy FC's Feliberto Bastiaro got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th match minute, Chivilcoy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Rosario to maneuver through the defense. If Lisandro Aureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Urbano Kauldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iruya's Fidel Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Pereyra in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, David Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Damaso Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Damaso Ederono made a precise shot to the right of Urbano Kauldi. Chivilcoy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Thanks to some nice moves Ramiro Romano could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Fidel Eliazar however easily saved by the left post. Iruya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
