Godfredo Montrell scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Tonio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Ledesma's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Aureo came free, but Miguel Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Godfredo Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Iruya fans jumped to their feet. After 30 minutes of play, Iruya's Lisandro Aureo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Tonio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd match minute, Iruya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Montrell to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Tonio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Montrell went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Fidel Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Iruya's goalkeeper Fidel Eliazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Jerold. After the first half Iruya were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A hard shot 58 in the game by Godfredo Montrell from a close distance when the talented Miguel Tonio managed to make a qualified save. Ledesma's players were relieved. Damaso Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Tonio having to interfere. After 63 played minutes, Iruya's Eulalio Lordi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Tonio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iruya reached it. In the 64th minute Fidel Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Astigar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Niceto Jerold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Aureo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Miguel Tonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iruya. Iruya's Fidel Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Abechuco in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Arotza in the 90th minute of play forced Iruya's goalkeeper Fidel Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ledesma getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Juan Abaunza hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Aureo got free with Miguel Tonio in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Iruya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ledesma throughout the match.
