But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Flores couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martín Palos got free with Epifanio Torres in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Youth Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Martín Palos scored to the left of an out of position Epifanio Torres, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Youth Academy getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vicente Galoer hit a great ball. Isidoro Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. After 28 played minutes Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Rumaldo. After having played for 30 minutes, Martín Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PanaThiNaiKos Cordobes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Palos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Torres made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Isidoro Flores sent off a good shot on target. Martín Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Torres having to interfere.
