Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Youth Academy's Everardo Hever started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Youth Academy's Everardo Hever got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Christian Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Torres was a little too slow when Christian Niguel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 18th match minute, Malvinas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Feliz to maneuver through the defense. If Christian Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the game, Christian Niguel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Epifanio Torres. Christian Niguel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Angelo Hernando's late challenge caught a Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Hernando helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Malvinas AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Angelo Hernando hit a great ball. Christian Niguels short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Epifanio Torres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, Malvinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Gomesano came free, but Emiliano Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Ostots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Torres having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Christian Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Niguel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Niguel might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Niguel ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Rumaldo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Youth Academy getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Agustin Rumaldo hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Youth Academy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joaquin Ostots fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Epifanio Torres managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Malvinas AFC's Christian Niguel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, Youth Academy's goalkeeper Epifanio Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Niguel. When Joaquin Ostots came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Malvinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Ostots couldn't finish the play. Christian Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Epifanio Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Epifanio Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Malvinas AFC's Astor Frascuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ostots in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Niguel in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Torres saved Youth Academy from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Niguel in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 61 minutes, Christian Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvinas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Niguel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Patrido came free, but Epifanio Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Malvinas AFC's Christian Niguel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Christian Niguel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. If Joaquin Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Joaquin Ostots left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malvinas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 77 minutes into the match, Joaquin Ostots had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Torres. Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Ostots was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Christian Niguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Niguel might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Niguel ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Niguel scored 8-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Constantino Lohitzun kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Joaquin Ostots struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Epifanio Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas AFC. Youth Academy's Epifanio Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Ostots in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Malvinas AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
