Celestino Salomone charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Salomone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s Celestino Salomone got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Cirilo Normando fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caseros FC's protests and gave Cirilo Normando a yellow card for diving instead. Cirilo Normando hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Anastasio Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Jaime Lixandro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Eutropio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Lixandro during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s Jaime Lixandro got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Caseros FC's Tiburcio Quin in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s zone, Tiburcio Quin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Sauveur came out of the goal and Tiburcio Quin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Sauveur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Quin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Gonzalo Fidele's late challenge caught a Caseros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Fidele helped the player get up and apologised. Gonzalo Fidele hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s Jesus Suarez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Eutropio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Jaime Lixandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Sauveur having to interfere. Ignacio Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Salomone in the 45th minute of play.

If Gabriel Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Caseros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Rexino came free, but Ignacio Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Blai in the 58th minute of play forced BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s goalkeeper Anastasio Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiburcio Quin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Sauveur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Tiburcio Quin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caseros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Danilo Beila lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 68th minute, one of Caseros FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caseros FC. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Fermin Feliz with Gonzalo Fidele as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tiburcio Quin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Sauveur having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Cirilo Normando notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BUENOS AIRES F. C.'s Anastasio Sauveur. Anastasio Sauveur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiburcio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anastasio Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Cirilo Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caseros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Quin in the 90th minute of play. BUENOS AIRES F. C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Caseros FC had controlled the match.
