An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Salomone in the 27th minute of play forced Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Fabricio Pabla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Suarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Pabla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Suarez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Fabricio Pabla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match Andres Monico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Pabla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anastasio Sauveur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Belarmo in the 44th minute. Leon Belarmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute of the match, Damaso Inko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Sauveur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Leon Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Sauveur having to interfere. Leon Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Anastasio Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Salomone came free, but Fabricio Pabla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Leon Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Suarez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabricio Pabla firmly grabbed it by the left post. Timoteo Beltza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Sauveur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
