With his leg Anibal Urdaspal managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when San Fernando Fútbol Club's Juan Bertol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juan Bertols short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Anibal Urdaspal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Geronimo Argider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Pitin in the 14th minute of play. A hard shot 15 in the game by Juan Bertol from a close distance when the talented Anibal Urdaspal managed to make a qualified save. Calmucó's players were relieved. After 16 minutes of play, San Fernando Fútbol Club's Juan Bertol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Urdaspal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geronimo Argider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, San Fernando Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Cresenciano came free, but Geronimo Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Fernando Fútbol Club's zone, Adolfo Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Argider came out of the goal and Adolfo Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Laffitte kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Segundo Eguntsenti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anibal Urdaspal having to interfere. Juan Bertol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anibal Urdaspal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anibal Urdaspal made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Juan Bertol sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Eguntsenti made a kick off. If Adolfo Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, San Fernando Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Cresenciano came free, but Geronimo Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Calmucó's Conrado Frans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geronimo Argider. Geronimo Argider yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 63 minutes into the game, Diego Chan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Fernando Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calmucó the free kick. Geronimo Argider was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastian Firmin. Augusto Acuña hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. San Fernando Fútbol Club's Geronimo Argider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save San Fernando Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd match minute, Calmucó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Firmin to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Laffitte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Segundo Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Juan Bertol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Fernando Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 93rd minute Juan Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Fernando Fútbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Calmucó had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
