In the 9th minute Luciano Bernebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Luciano Bernebe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimiro Calisto. The goal made the score 1-1. Marcelino Tallia struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Venancio Ellande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malvinas FC. Vladimiro Calisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Marcelino Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Ellande having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lima's goalkeeper Venancio Ellande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Lima getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lucio Lauro hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Narciso Oton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimiro Calisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Tallia in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Ellande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Malvinas FC's Vladimiro Calisto got control of the ball when Virgilio Mendiko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Lima players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malvinas FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelino Tallia to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Narciso Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Oton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Ellande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Manuel Jakue fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lima's protests and gave Manuel Jakue a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Manuel Jakue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lima booed when Malvinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Evarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Narciso Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Oton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Tallia in the 91st minute of the match. Venancio Ellande came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Malvinas FC's Marcelino Tallia. But to his dismay, Marcelino Tallia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
