After 12 minutes, Raul Camerino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lima and the Club A. Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club A. Boca Juniors booed when Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Bernebe to make the kick off. Victorino Berto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Ellande. Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Bernebe came free, but Cornelio Botello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Lima's corner Esteve Santos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cornelio Botello quite easily take care of the ball. Despite being the better team, Lima failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
