But to his dismay, Dalmacio Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Atilano Bartuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Cresenciano came free, but Cosme Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Frances. Agustin Frances hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ulises Mantzio hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Cresenciano came free, but Cosme Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aldosivi MDQ's zone, Bruno Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Bartuelo came out of the goal and Bruno Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Igor Ritchie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cosme Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Virila in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Virila came free, but Cosme Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Ritchie in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo got control of the ball when Bruno Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match, Igor Ritchie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Atilano Bartuelo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. RIVER's Cosme Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Aguirre in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Jeremias Nesor made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Llope. RIVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Ritchie was the one to do the kick off. Cosme Llope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Aguirre in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, RIVER's goalkeeper Cosme Llope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Aguirre. In the 58th minute of the match, Fermin Virila got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosme Llope was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulises Mantzio charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Mantzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Aldosivi MDQ defense, Bruno Osasun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Bartuelo. The Aldosivi MDQ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Bartuelo should have stopped the shot. If Igor Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69thth minute of the game Igor Ritchie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Osasun took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Bartuelo. Atilano Bartuelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Igor Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, RIVER's Cosme Llope got control of the ball when Fermin Virila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldosivi MDQ's Fermin Virila came free and shot a quick shot against goal 79 minutes in the game, fortunately Cosme Llope had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Atilano Bartuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Laffitte in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Igor Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Bartuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RIVER's Igor Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Ritchie in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Bartuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Bruno Osasun got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Ramon Laffitte notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo. Atilano Bartuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cosme Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RIVER fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aldosivi MDQ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
