The tension between the Naunauco FC and the Lima players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Naunauco FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Oliveiro. After having played for 12 minutes, Luciano Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes, Filiberto Cresenciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lima and the Naunauco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Naunauco FC booed when Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Cresenciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Fix in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Luciano Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lima's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Bernebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Ferrando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Ellande having to interfere. Bernabe Fix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Ellande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Venancio Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Fix in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Fix in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Ellande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rafael Aureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naunauco FC's Geronimo Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Bernebe in the 33rd minute of play. Venancio Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Remigio Oliveiro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lima's Esteve Santos tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Luciano Bernebe made the kick off in the second half. If Manuel Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Fonso charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Fonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Naunauco FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Fonso. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Mendiko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Ferrando was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Lima were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Naunauco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteve Santos took the corner. Esteve Santos made a great header on Lima's corner, it was just that Naunauco FC's Geronimo Ferrando managed to reach the ball for a save. When Remigio Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Naunauco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Naunauco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Bernebe came free, but Geronimo Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Naunauco FC's zone, Luciano Bernebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Ferrando came out of the goal and Luciano Bernebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Naunauco FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
