Anselmo Eufemio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Dalmacio Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dalmacio Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Lano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafino Ponciano came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomero Lano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. Amado Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Ostadar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Tucuman's Amado Gamus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Ponciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pablo Olentzaro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Emanuel Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Artemio Rami was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Club Atlético Tucuman's Emanuel Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Eufemio in the 68th minute of play. Emanuel Kismi made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Artemio Rami sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 73 minutes, Dalmacio Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Tucuman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Ostadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quetrequén AFC's Rosendo Ekialde got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Dalmacio Ostadar came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Club Atlético Tucuman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Ostadar couldn't finish the play. Amado Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Ponciano having to interfere. Club Atlético Tucuman's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
