The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th match minute, Aldosivi MDQ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Virila struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vladimiro Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldosivi MDQ. After 14 minutes, Aureliano Aguirre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldosivi MDQ and the Malvinas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Aldosivi MDQ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Herminio Evarado led 15 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Fermin Virila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Calisto having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas FC's zone, Natalio Tebaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Calisto came out of the goal and Natalio Tebaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Inocencio Papo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldosivi MDQ and the Malvinas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Aldosivi MDQ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Inocencio Papo hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Aldosivi MDQ's Fermin Virila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Calisto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimiro Calisto came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Aldosivi MDQ's Fermin Virila. But to his dismay, Fermin Virila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fermin Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Calisto having to interfere. Fermin Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Vladimiro Calisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Cresenciano was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Aldosivi MDQ's Dalmacio Cresenciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Calisto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Narciso Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvinas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Oton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Narciso Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas FC's zone, Dalmacio Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Calisto came out of the goal and Dalmacio Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malvinas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Aldosivi MDQ's Fermin Virila got a free kick in the 71st minute. Urbano Baumar's late challenge caught a Aldosivi MDQ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Baumar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Malvinas FC's Urbano Baumar got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Jeremias Nesor fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldosivi MDQ's protests and gave Jeremias Nesor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aldosivi MDQ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jeremias Nesor hit a great ball. Vladimiro Calisto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Cresenciano's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Malvinas FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Calisto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Virila. Fermin Virila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Calisto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Dalmacio Cresenciano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Aldosivi MDQ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Cresenciano couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Narciso Oton notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Aldosivi MDQ's Atilano Bartuelo. Atilano Bartuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malvinas FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Aldosivi MDQ had controlled the match.
