It was 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Cincomentario FC's Fausto Segio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafino Ponciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Froilan Olo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cincomentario FC's protests and gave Froilan Olo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Cincomentario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Olo to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Rami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Monte having to make a save. Anselmo Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Monte having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Teodosio Frans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cincomentario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Frans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Segio to make the kick off. A collision led to Quetrequén AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rosendo Ekialde hit a great ball. Teodosio Frans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Serafino Ponciano made a huge save. Anselmo Eufemio's late challenge caught a Cincomentario FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Eufemio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quetrequén AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Anselmo Eufemio hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Quetrequén AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto Segio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Quetrequén AFC's Serafino Ponciano got control of the ball when Teodosio Frans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 played minutes Quetrequén AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Eufemio. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Teodosio Frans put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Serafino Ponciano. 66 minutes into the game, Teodosio Frans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafino Ponciano. Teodosio Frans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Quetrequén AFC's goalkeeper Serafino Ponciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artemio Rami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Rami scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Monte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 minutes, Aldo Rocendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quetrequén AFC and the Cincomentario FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Aldo Rocendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quetrequén AFC's Serafino Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Segio in the 86th minute of play. Prospero Fero charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Fero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quetrequén AFC booed when Cincomentario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes of play Cincomentario FC's Prospero Fero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th match minute, Cincomentario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Fero to maneuver through the defense. The Cincomentario FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cincomentario FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
