In the 3rd minute, Luis Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Baldomero Tiso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Chalanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Inocente came free, but Victoriano Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Haitz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Inocente in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Bermudo saved Chalanta FC from getting behind. Victoriano Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Chalanta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Honesto to maneuver through the defense. Luis Bermudezs short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Victoriano Bermudo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Caribbean Club booed when Chalanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chalanta FC's goalkeeper Victoriano Bermudo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casimiro Paez's late challenge caught a Caribbean Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Paez helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Victoriano Bermudo made a huge save. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chalanta FC! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Caribbean Club. Sixto Costante stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victoriano Bermudo. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The audience was convinced that Narciso Inocente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Bermudo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Ildefonso Paul struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Nemesio Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalanta FC. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Narciso Inocente sped through Chalanta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Bermudo. Nemesio Haitz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Baldomero Tiso sent off a good shot on target. Narciso Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Ildefonso Paul fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nemesio Haitz, passed just outside the right post. Chalanta FC's Victoriano Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Inocente in the 88th minute of play. Narciso Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Bermudo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
