Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Dr. Favaloro's German Abad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Christian Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramos Mejia Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Foro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ramos Mejia Gunners's zone, German Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Rozarius came out of the goal and German Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Pastor Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Foro in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Pastor Orixe made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Rozarius. Ramos Mejia Gunners's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 34th minute, Marciano Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Orixe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Rozarius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Pastor Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Ramos Mejia Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Seber to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Foro to make the kick off. Ladislao Rozarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ramos Mejia Gunners's Christian Foro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute German Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Rozarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Abad in the 63rd minute of the match. When German Abad came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dr. Favaloro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Abad couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Pastor Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dr. Favaloro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pastor Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Orixe got free with Ladislao Rozarius in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dr. Favaloro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
