Spectators: 7277 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Narciso Inocente started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Narciso Inocente's late challenge caught a Urutaú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Inocente helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Caribbean Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Inocente to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Haitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Serafo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Anacleto Ledesma came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Caribbean Club's Narciso Inocente. But to his dismay, Narciso Inocente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Luis Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caribbean Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Caribbean Club. Sixto Costante stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anacleto Ledesma. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bermudez in the 31st minute of play forced Urutaú FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Urutaú FC booed when Caribbean Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nemesio Haitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Caribbean Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Cutberto to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Eufrasio charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Eufrasio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Urutaú FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aurelio Eufrasio hit a great ball. Sixto Costante might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Ledesma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Costante ran back to his position shaking his head. Nemesio Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Roque Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Inocente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anacleto Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Bermudez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anacleto Ledesma firmly grabbed it by the left post. Generoso Balendin struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nemesio Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urutaú FC. Nemesio Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Caribbean Club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Urutaú FC's much stronger midfield.
