They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Silencioso booed when Dr. Favaloro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Banegas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Lluciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silencioso. Matias Gaskon charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 83rd minute Astor Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Dr. Favaloro's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Austin came free, but Jonathan Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dr. Favaloro's goalkeeper Jonathan Lluciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
