But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Inocente couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Acosta in the 6th minute of the match. If Astor Banegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes Caribbean Club got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Harri. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Austin helped the player get up and apologised. Esteban Austin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Caribbean Club booed when Silencioso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Luis Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Caribbean Club booed when Silencioso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caribbean Club's Nemesio Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Banegas in the 35th minute of play. When Sergio Maureo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Silencioso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Maureo couldn't finish the play. Narciso Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Astor Banegas made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Haitz. Caribbean Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Banegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0-3 became the score in the 55th minute when Astor Banegas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alvaro Harri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Osorio. Silencioso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th minute Narciso Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Silencioso's Astor Banegas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Nemesio Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Caribbean Club got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Ferrando. Nemesio Haitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Banegas in the 69th minute. Esteban Austin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nemesio Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silencioso. The audience was convinced that Astor Banegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Haitz was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Caribbean Club's goalkeeper Nemesio Haitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Acosta. In the 75th minute, Esteban Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Silencioso's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Ilazki came free, but Bruno Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Austin struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Nemesio Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silencioso. Astor Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Austin got free with Nemesio Haitz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Caribbean Club's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Banegas came free, but Nemesio Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silencioso played a much better game than Caribbean Club and deserved their victory. The Caribbean Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
