After 8 played minutes Dr. Favaloro got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Ospetsu. When Candido Inautzi fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Globo de mi vida's protests and gave Candido Inautzi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Globo de mi vida's Candido Inautzi got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Globo de mi vida's goalkeeper Godfredo Kusko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Orixe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Orixe got free with Godfredo Kusko in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Globo de mi vida's Godfredo Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Abad in the 31st minute of play. If Pastor Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Felipe Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, German Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr. Favaloro's supporters rose to their feet, but German Abad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Kusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pastor Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Inautzi got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Globo de mi vida getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Candido Inautzi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Globo de mi vida's zone, German Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Kusko came out of the goal and German Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Simon Eduino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Matias Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Refugio came free in the 65th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jonathan Lluciano, but to the joy of Dr. Favaloro's supporters the ball went over. 68 minutes into the game, Dr. Favaloro's German Abad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Kusko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Pastor Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Globo de mi vida's Godfredo Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Abad in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Dr. Favaloro were awarded a corner. Genaro Ramirez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in German Abad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Globo de mi vida's Godfredo Kusko did a great save. Pastor Orixe struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Godfredo Kusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr. Favaloro. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Abad in the 83rd minute of play forced Globo de mi vida's goalkeeper Godfredo Kusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Dr. Favaloro's Pastor Orixe made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Kusko was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Felipe Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Godfredo Kusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Kusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Abad in the 93rd minute of play. If German Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Globo de mi vida's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
