Saverio Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Calvino came free, but Eliseo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Oto. Gustavo Calvino struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Eliseo Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Atila. After 10 minutes of play, AC Atila's Gustavo Calvino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente's goalkeeper Eliseo Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Jonatan Sabin in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 21 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Calvino came free, but Eliseo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Perrando in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente's Eliseo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Lico in the 31st minute of play. Gustavo Calvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Saverio Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Calvino in the 38th minute of play. Saverio Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eliseo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Independiente booed when AC Atila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, AC Atila's Saverio Lico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Sabin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Braulio Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Fernandes having to interfere. When Gustavo Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the AC Atila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Calvino couldn't finish the play. Hugo Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Sabin in the 59th minute of play. Hugo Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Nuñez in the 66th minute of the match. Hugo Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gustavo Calvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eliseo Fernandes made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Eliseo Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Perrando. Gustavo Calvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Eliseo Fernandes made a huge save. Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Braulio Loi scored to the left of an out of position Eliseo Fernandes, making the score, 1-4. AC Atila's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
