In the 9th match minute, Visca Lepra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Xabier to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Jonatan Sidoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS and the Visca Lepra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Visca Lepra booed when C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Visca Lepra's Ubaldo Rivero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bautista Pochettino. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. When Jonatan Sidoro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS's Jonatan Sidoro got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ubaldo Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS's Bautista Pochettino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Rivero in the 24th minute of play. Marcelino Lope struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Clodoveo Baudelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS. Severiano Garci kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Clodoveo Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Lope in the 34th minute of play. Marcelino Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Clodoveo Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cayetano Fagondo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Fagondo couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Visca Lepra's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Lope came free, but Clodoveo Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelino Lope came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Lope couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Lope in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Baudelio saved Visca Lepra from getting behind. A well placed Marcelino Lope short distance shot in the 57th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS's Marcelino Lope in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Clodoveo Baudelio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Visca Lepra through an amazing save. In the 65th minute, Marcelino Lope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Visca Lepra's zone, Cayetano Fagondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Baudelio came out of the goal and Cayetano Fagondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Visca Lepra's Dario Joachim got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS's Marcelino Lope sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Baudelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bautista Pochettino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Hanni in the 74th minute of play. Bautista Pochettino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Hanni, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Lope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Baudelio was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Marcelino Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Visca Lepra getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anacleto Xabier hit a great ball. Marcelino Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Visca Lepra's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Lope came free, but Clodoveo Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramon Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.A. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
