Victoriano Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Visca Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Garci. In the 14thth minute of the game Hector Maule who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Visca Lepra's Clodoveo Baudelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mil Flores's Samuel Romero got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Rivero in the 20th minute of play forced Mil Flores's goalkeeper Victoriano Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Visca Lepra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guillermo Phelipe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ruperto Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Guillermo Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mil Flores's Victoriano Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Rivero in the 29th minute of play. Ubaldo Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Hanni in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Lano saved Mil Flores from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ubaldo Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Visca Lepra's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ubaldo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Eliseo Hanni put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victoriano Lano. Visca Lepra's Clodoveo Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Maule in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Visca Lepra booed when Mil Flores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Orland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Rivero in the 60th minute of play. Eliseo Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Lano having to interfere. Victoriano Lano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Hanni in the 91st minute. If Eliseo Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Rivero struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Victoriano Lano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visca Lepra. After 98 minutes of play Visca Lepra's Ruperto Urti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ruperto Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The Mil Flores supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Visca Lepra's performance. The match ended with a win for Visca Lepra.
