Eliseo Hanni ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the game, one of Pantera FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zeledon Mergildo had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Blas Benet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Geronimo Perrando scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Baudelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pantera FC's Zeledon Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Rivero in the 23rd minute of play. If Dalmacio Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Dalmacio Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Baudelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ubaldo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Mergildo having to interfere. Clodoveo Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Rivero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Mergildo, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Rivero made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, one of Visca Lepra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Visca Lepra. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Pantera FC. Julio Balasi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Clodoveo Baudelio. 2-2. A collision led to Visca Lepra getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anacleto Xabier hit a great ball. Geronimo Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, Visca Lepra's Eliseo Hanni made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Mergildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes Visca Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Xabier. Genaro Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Mergildo having to interfere. With a little luck, Visca Lepra's Clodoveo Baudelio got control of the ball when Mario Librado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 minutes, Dario Joachim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Visca Lepra and the Pantera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Visca Lepra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Joachim to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Mergildo having to interfere. Arnaldo Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dalmacio Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Clodoveo Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Dalmacio Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Baudelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Visca Lepra's goalkeeper Clodoveo Baudelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Perrando. Eliseo Hanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Visca Lepra could leave the field as winners, despite Pantera FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
