The coaching staff of AC Atila protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filiberto Hernandez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Atila fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Los Pibes Magos a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geronimo Domiku, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Atila's Hugo Romo. 0-1. If Gustavo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 21 in the game by Gustavo Calvino from a close distance when the talented Severo Eriz managed to make a qualified save. Los Pibes Magos's players were relieved. 24 minutes into the game, Benigno Giro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Pibes Magos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Atila the free kick. In the 24th minute, Benigno Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Florencio Dalmu fired a really elegant long shot, but Severo Eriz threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Gustavo Calvino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Severo Eriz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Severo Eriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Calvino in the 33rd minute. Gustavo Calvino scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severo Eriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Abeitia made a kick off. In the 55th minute Domingo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Abeitia took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Romo. Hugo Romo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Los Pibes Magos's Benigno Giro got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Benigno Giro off the ground. A collision led to Los Pibes Magos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Benigno Giro hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, AC Atila's Florencio Dalmu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Atila's zone, Eustacio Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Romo came out of the goal and Eustacio Udalaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severo Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eustacio Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Gustavo Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Romo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Udalaitz in the 89th minute. When Gustavo Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AC Atila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Calvino couldn't finish the play. Braulio Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Severo Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Kusko hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see AC Atila lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
