Santos Cordarrel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Pio X's Baltasar Haimar got control of the ball when Bruno Innocenzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximiliano Berenguer in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Baltasar Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pio X's zone, Maximiliano Berenguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Haimar came out of the goal and Maximiliano Berenguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Fix to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Berenguer in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Haimar saved Pio X from getting behind. Santos Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th match minute, Pio X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. If Maximiliano Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Maximiliano Berenguer sped through Pio X's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baltasar Haimar. Pio X's Baltasar Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Innocenzio in the 96th minute of play. Peca FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
