Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Acuña in the 31st minute of play forced WE Japon's goalkeeper Cristian Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Guandacol AFC's Faustino Abajas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Jeremias Olentzaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Luke went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Agustin Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Alejo Luke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Olentzaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 67th minute Alejo Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Sindo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jeremias Olentzaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WE Japon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Ferrando during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romeo Gergori, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cristian Gines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
