The Chasicó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 29th minute, Casimiro Espiridion made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Lluc. BOCA JUNIORS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Chasicó getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hipolito Firme hit a great ball. BOCA JUNIORS's Segundo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Rioja in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Chasicó's Casimiro Espiridion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Lluc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Rosario took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Lluc. Segundo Lluc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Domenec was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Hipolito Firme took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Segundo Lluc to make any attempt to save it. If Casimiro Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Eustaquio Domenec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Domenec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Jacobo Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Firme in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Chasicó's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Domenec came free, but Lázaro Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Ortzi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Espiridion in the 92nd minute of play forced BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Segundo Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Vedillo hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
