Cristian Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's goalkeeper Abel Lohitzun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alejo Luke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Lohitzun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Gaizko was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, WE Japon's Alejo Luke made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Lohitzun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejo Luke scored 2-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Lohitzun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustin Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Lohitzun having to interfere. Dionisio Gaizko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Gines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Camerino during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Iraitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Alejo Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. WE Japon's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The WE Japon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lxs Pibxs De Liberman's performance. The match ended with a win for Lxs Pibxs De Liberman.
