The supporters of Simoca booed when Salame Tandilero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Simoca's Pascual Iigo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 23 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Salame Tandilero FC's Baltasar Aires fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Simoca's Pascual Iigo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Erasmo Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Urbes in the 26th minute of play. If Rodrigo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dionisio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Baltasar Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salame Tandilero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Aires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Bernebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Salame Tandilero FC's Anier Jaizki got a free kick in the 40th minute. Aquilino Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Donio having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Amancio Sazon made the kick off in the second half. Octavio Erroman's late challenge caught a Salame Tandilero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Erroman helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Salame Tandilero FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Rozarius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Nevada in the 65th minute of play forced Salame Tandilero FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dionisio Bernebe made a huge save. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simoca's goalkeeper Dionisio Bernebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Salame Tandilero FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Salame Tandilero FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
