Dionisio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BOCA JUNIORS's Segundo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Urbes in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the BOCA JUNIORS defense, Aquilino Urbes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Lluc. The BOCA JUNIORS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Lluc should have stopped the shot. In the 19th match minute, Simoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Bernebe having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Constantino Leoncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Urbes in the 26th minute of play. Dionisio Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Domenec in the 30th minute of the match. Segundo Lluc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ricardo Arias hit a great ball. Jacobo Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dionisio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Aquilino Urbes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOCA JUNIORS's Segundo Lluc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simoca's Roman Aresti pulled a muscle in his back after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ruben Janpier charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Janpier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BOCA JUNIORS's Ruben Janpier got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Domenec made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Jacobo Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Simoca getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pascual Iigo hit a great ball. Rodrigo Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Simoca's zone, Jacobo Benino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Bernebe came out of the goal and Jacobo Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Bernebe having to interfere. When Eustaquio Domenec fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOCA JUNIORS's protests and gave Eustaquio Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Domenec. Eustaquio Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dionisio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simoca's Rodrigo Nevada got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Simoca got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Iratze. After a rather tough play, Simoca's Octavio Erroman got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Simoca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
