After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tomás Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nogal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Venerando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Dolcet to strike the kick off in the second half. Natalio Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nogal FC's Arturo Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Dolcet in the 60th minute of play. In the 69th minute Filiberto Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Dorio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Dorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nogal FC booed when Cienaguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Dorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filiberto Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nogal FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nogal FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
