An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Acuña in the 16th minute of play forced Cienaguita's goalkeeper Donato Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Fernandes during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dalmacio Fernandes got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Dalmacio Fernandes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Guandacol AFC's protests and gave Ladislao Kiliz a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guandacol AFC!
