In the 3rd minute, Pastor Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Represita fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Ricardo Arias's late challenge caught a Represita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Arias helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Arias. Herminio Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Domenec in the 17th minute of the match. Represita's Herminio Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Domenec in the 19th minute of play. Jacobo Benino struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Herminio Florian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOCA JUNIORS. 24 minutes into the match, Represita's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Benino came free, but Herminio Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Domenec in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Romeo Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 38th minute of the match Ricardo Arias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricardo Arias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ricardo Arias hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Represita's Silvio Mannie broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Segundo Lluc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Lastur went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Castulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Segundo Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Modesto Lastur made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Wilfredo Castulo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Wilfredo Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Represita's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Lluc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Segundo Lluc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Modesto Lastur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Segundo Lluc. BOCA JUNIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Lastur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pastor Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Pastor Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilfredo Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Lastur in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Lluc saved BOCA JUNIORS from getting behind. Modesto Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Segundo Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Represita had played much better football throughout.
