After a defensive mix-up in Salame Tandilero FC's zone, Faustino Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Donio came out of the goal and Faustino Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Guandacol AFC's goalkeeper Jeremias Olentzaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Aires. After a rather tough play, Guandacol AFC's Faustino Fagildo got a free kick in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Baltasar Aires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jeremias Olentzaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustino Abajas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Amancio Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salame Tandilero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Sazon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Olentzaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Erasmo Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salame Tandilero FC's Erasmo Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Abajas in the 25th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Faustino Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Erasmo Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guandacol AFC's Jeremias Olentzaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Guandacol AFC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Teobaldo Acuña came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Guandacol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Acuña couldn't finish the play. If Teobaldo Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guandacol AFC's goalkeeper Jeremias Olentzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremias Olentzaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Acuña in the 82nd minute of the match. Sixto Rozarius hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Amancio Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
