After 2 played minutes Marlboro FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Tonio. The crowd rose to their feet as Marlboro FC's Zeledon Elazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paolo Ciano. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Zeledon Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Ciano having to make a save. Aquilino Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aquilino Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Marlboro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Gorka to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Paolo Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Aquilino Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Paublo in the 32nd minute of the match. Zeledon Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paolo Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Marlboro FC's Zeledon Elazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Ciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remigio Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jacinto Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Quilo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Gregorio Precioso, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Elazar was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Aquilino Paublo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Balasi. The goal made the score 1-1. Alfredo Loreto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Carolo Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Paolo Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Evaristo Quilo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlboro FC's protests and gave Evaristo Quilo a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Sangre verde y negra fc got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Betadur. Paolo Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Pepillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Laureano Gorka hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Remigio Betadur came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sangre verde y negra fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Betadur couldn't finish the play. Remigio Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Balasi having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Sangre verde y negra fc's Alfredo Loreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Balasi. Jacinto Balasi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 95th minute, Laureano Gorka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
