The referee gave Orlando Musko a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Desiderio Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Lucas Elixio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Balasi skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Abecia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Balasi saved Marlboro FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Abecia in the 39th minute of play forced Marlboro FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Norberto Piorno notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marlboro FC's Jacinto Balasi. Laureano Gorka hit a great ball. Rodio's Uriel Abecia was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Norberto Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 68 in the game by Norberto Piorno from a close distance when the talented Jacinto Balasi managed to make a qualified save. Marlboro FC's players were relieved.
