Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Mateo started the match with the kick off. Norberto Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Norberto Piorno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rodrigo Mateo sped through Rodio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Desiderio Ortle. In the 11th minute, Filiberto Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santillán FC's Paulino Lohitzun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rodio. Ruperto Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Desiderio Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Guillem charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Guillem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rodio's Urbano Guillem got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Ruperto Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Abecia struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tobias Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodio. The supporters of Santillán FC booed when Rodio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santillán FC's Tobias Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Piorno in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Santillán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Piorno came free, but Tobias Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Heriberto hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Lucas Elixio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tobias Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Piorno to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Norberto Piorno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Hermelando was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Uriel Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodio's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Abecia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Abecia in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Hermelando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Abecia in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Santillán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Abecia came free, but Tobias Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santillán FC's zone, Uriel Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Hermelando came out of the goal and Uriel Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Santillán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Abecia came free, but Tobias Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Abecia in the 71st minute of play forced Santillán FC's goalkeeper Tobias Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Hermelando came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodio's Norberto Piorno. But to his dismay, Norberto Piorno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Piorno in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Hermelando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rodio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
