But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Osoro couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Fernan Gurutz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emilio Urtats. The goal made the score 2-1. When David Heriberto fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union Kamikaze's protests and gave David Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Union Kamikaze getting a freekick after 48 minutes play.
