Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lino Mercurio kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Cristian Arotza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Rosio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Elpidio Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Mercurio in the 11th minute of play. Bruno Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Rexy Barenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Massao Arena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rexy Barenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Arotza in the 25th minute of the match. Elpidio Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Buinton in the 33rd minute. Rexy Barenz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Anibal Rosio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massao Arena. In the 40thth minute of the game Cristian Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamante FC's Anibal Rosio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Teodosio Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anibal Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Arotza in the 43rd minute of play. When Massao Arena's Cristian Arotza in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Arotza to make the kick off. Anibal Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Rosio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the game, Danilo Buinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diamante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Massao Arena the free kick. In the 61st minute, Danilo Buinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bruno Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th match minute, Massao Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Sergi to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Bruno Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Diamante FC's goalkeeper Anibal Rosio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Ishmael. When Massao Arena's Cristian Arotza in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anibal Rosio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anibal Rosio made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Bruno Arixo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Diamante FC's zone, Bruno Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Rosio came out of the goal and Bruno Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Massao Arena booed when Diamante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
