With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Guillelme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Frisco during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Zeledon Frisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Cristian Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lino Cristofor fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Massao Arena's protests and gave Lino Cristofor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barsa FC booed when Massao Arena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Guillelme having to interfere. Benito Guillelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Arotza in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Everardo Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Arotza to make the kick off. Teodosio Sergi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Benito Guillelme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massao Arena. In the 72nd minute, Gaston Jerico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rexy Barenz during the 73rd minute.
