Atilano Foro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Gitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Labardén FC's zone, Maximiliano Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Gitano came out of the goal and Maximiliano Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Llorente's Maximiliano Rumaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adan Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Orlondo in the 32nd minute of play. Claudio Gartxot made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alejo Florian sent off a good shot on target. If Atilano Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Adan Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Llorente. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Elivareo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atilano Foros short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Adan Gitano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximiliano Rumaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Gitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Rumaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Albano Kinsen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Llorente booed when Labardén FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Mede didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Atilano Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
