Arturo Reynardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Elias Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Timoteo Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Lluciano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Jorge Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes Deportivo Bowen FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horacio Bilintx who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Horacio Bilintx almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Bowen FC's Arturo Reynardo did a great save. If Jorge Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Pirro was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Bowen FC's Ariel Martxelin suffered a sore knee after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Duarte during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Leon Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Reynardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Lico in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cordoba United F.C.'s Severiano Gai got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Filiberto Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Deportivo Bowen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Duarte came free, but Arturo Reynardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
