Claudio Cordarrol started the match with the kick off. Paulo Cordearo's late challenge caught a Estrugamou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Cordearo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Estrugamou booed when Gallo Capo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6thth minute of the game Omar Joachim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrugamou's Alberto Tibalt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Wilfredo Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Claudio Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Nereo Matai put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Estrugamou fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Alberto Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Joachim in the 20th minute of the match. If Omar Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Omar Joachim sped through Estrugamou's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Tibalt. Rigoberto Berto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Alfredo Xabel made a huge save. In the 47thth minute of the game Omar Joachim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrugamou's Alberto Tibalt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Joachim to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesar Lawrence hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Rigoberto Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Paulo Cordearo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gallo Capo's Alvaro Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Cesar Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Alberto Tibalt managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Gallo Capo's Omar Joachim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Alvaro Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Gallo Capo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Leoiar couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Alberto Tibalt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Omar Joachim struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Alberto Tibalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gallo Capo. Alberto Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gallo Capo played a much better game than Estrugamou and deserved their victory. The Estrugamou players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
