With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Sergi in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Irrintzi saved Cordoba United F.C. from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Cordoba United F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miñones FC:s goal. Everardo Martinez walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Eustacio Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Ofelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Soter in the 97th minute of the match. Miñones FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
