Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Severo Guerau got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the game, David Lartaun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raul Gilesindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dionisio Ur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Lartaun in the 18th minute of the match. Marco Omero hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If David Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Curhuani AFC defense, Severo Guerau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Gilesindo. The Curhuani AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Gilesindo should have stopped the shot. Zonda's Ivan Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Roldanillo in the 27th minute of play. Roman Pudes's late challenge caught a Curhuani AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Pudes helped the player get up and apologised. Roman Pudes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Siro Rosio, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 31 played minutes Zonda got a freekick which was hit by Roman Pudes. Severo Guerau struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Raul Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonda. David Lartaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Raul Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Zonda's Severo Guerau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Gilesindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If David Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Curhuani AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zonda were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prospero Roldanillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Baldomiro Leocadio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curhuani AFC and the Zonda players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Curhuani AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Baldomiro Leocadio hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Zonda's Raul Gilesindo threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severo Guerau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardino Pasqual's late challenge caught a Curhuani AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Pasqual helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Bernardino Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Zonda got a freekick which was hit by Roman Pudes. If Dionisio Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Guerau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Gilesindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Curhuani AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Guerau came free, but Raul Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curhuani AFC's Raul Gilesindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Curhuani AFC from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Dalmai struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Raul Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonda. David Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Gilesindo having to interfere. Severo Guerau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Gilesindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Dionisio Ur took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Benitez. Ivan Benitez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Curhuani AFC booed when Zonda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Siro Rosio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curhuani AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zonda the free kick. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curhuani AFC! Raul Gilesindo went to the wrong direction when Augusto Estavan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Zonda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zonda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
