Nestor Acosta might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Ongile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Acosta ran back to his position shaking his head. Amancio Arnalt got in the 17th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gervasio Osmundo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Melchor Edur's late challenge caught a Gingins FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Edur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Melchor Edur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Leopoldo Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nestor Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lucas Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Amancio Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Osmundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RESACADOS F.C. booed when Gingins FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gingins FC's Gervasio Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Arnalt in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Tomás Marko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, RESACADOS F.C.'s Candido Remicio tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eugenio Columbo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Gervasio Osmundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RESACADOS F.C.. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Columbo was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Nestor Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lucas Ongile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the RESACADOS F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gingins FC.
