With a little luck, Herlitzka's Fulgencio Evangelista got control of the ball when Eloy Videl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Eloy Videl took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Fulgencio Evangelista to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Herlitzka's Teofilo Hulberto got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Eloy Videl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herlitzka's Fulgencio Evangelista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel-Abel Del Fierro made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 48thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fulgencio Evangelista would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Teofilo Hulberto made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Angel-Abel Del Fierro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Eloy Videl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Teofilo Hulberto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Francis. The goal made the score 6-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Eustaquio Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herlitzka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eloy Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel-Abel Del Fierro in the 92nd minute of play. Fulgencio Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Videl, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Herlitzka's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Videl came free, but Fulgencio Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
